More than 74 people have been killed and at least 187 injured by Greece's worst wildfires in a century. On Tuesday (AEST), officials confirmed the latest death toll number, which included many children.
The inferno is thought to be Greece's deadliest, with the death toll higher than fires which ravaged the southern Peloponnese peninsula over several days in August 2007.
Hundreds of firefighters and volunteers battled the blazes while people fled their homes near Athens.
