Fast & Furious 7 to resume in April

The cast of Fast & Furious 7 will head to Georgia in April to finishing filming the movie which was on hold following the death of star Paul Walker.

Production on Fast & Furious 7 will reportedly resume in April.

Filming on the big-budget movie was put on hold in November when star Paul Walker was killed in a fiery car crash in California.

Prior to the tragedy, the cast was scheduled to return to Georgia to finish shooting the film.

The Hollywood Reporter reports the cast and crew will head to Georgia on April 1 to complete the movie.

At the time of his death Walker was more than halfway through filming his scenes as Brian O'Conner. It's understood studio bosses at Universal decided to retire the character so the franchise can continue.

Fast & Furious 7, which also stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson, is due for release in 2015.
