The artists of Eurovision 2017: Fusedmarc – “Rain of Revolution” (Lithuania)

Eurovision is a marathon not a sprint - as this duo can attest.

Lithuania holds the honour of hosting the most complicated and lengthy of all the national competitions to select a Eurovision entry. Lasting more than 10 weeks, Eurovizijos atranka 2017 consists of eight heats, a semi-final and a grand final.

The process concluded with the much-awarded Fusedmarc securing the chance to represent Lithuania with the powerful “Rain of Revolution”. After Lithuania scored their second best finish in the competition last year, courtesy of Donny Montell’s top 10 placing, there’s a tsunami of pressure on Fusedmarc to repeat this success.

Much of the heavy lifting will fall on lead singer Victoria Ivanovskaja, whose energetic and unpredictable onstage delivery could see the Lithuanian fortunes sink or swim. Not wanting to rain on their parade, but Lithuania currently sits at 100/1 chance of securing a win.
